Summer School
In 1991, in cooperation with the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE), the Liberální Institut held its first conference called A Way to Economic Thinking, attended by 310 participants. As the conference was a great success, a similar conference was held the following year. Since 1993, the Liberální Institut and the FTE have held a seven-day Liberální Institut Summer School called Economics for Leaders. We believe there is no better way to spread ideas and knowledge than through the teaching process. Every year, thirty high school teachers and thirty high school students are selected to participate from a pool of applicants, which exceeds our capacity many times over.
In recent years the semminar has taken place in hotel Jezerka, Sec Near Pardubice in late August.
