Cultural Events
The general idea behind organizing cultural events is to spread the outcomes of the Liberální Institut's research projects and generally to popularize the liberal principles of freedom, private property, and rule of law. Every year we organize up to four events that attract wide attention of general public. Those are:
- Annual Lecture
- Prague Spring and/or Fall Lecture
- Tax Freedom Day
Besides, about ten discussion fora on current social and economic issues are held during the year. Many guest speakers both from academia and politics or business took part there. In the audience, one usually finds journalists, politics, bureaucrats, businessmen as well as students and academics. The Liberální Institut belongs to the Freeman Discussion Club Network.
